Our Safety Commitment
During these unprecedented times, the health and well-being of our staff and guests is our top priority. At the Greek Freak we are continually monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation. In accordance with the Durham Region Health Department and the provincial government, we are taking measures to strengthen our already-stringent operational standards. While maintaining our high level of cleanliness and sanitation, we are taking extra precautions to help ensure a safe experience when picking up orders from our restaurant or when delivering your order to your door. These include:
- Requiring all staff members to wear gloves and masks
- Reinforcement of constant handwashing
- Cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces and counters after use
- Having hand sanitizer available within our establishment
- Removal of dine-in tables
- Enforcement of physical distancing – placing markings on our floor to help guests distance themselves from others
- Installation of appropriate plexiglass safety barriers
- Utilization of wrapped utensils and condiments
- Offering on-line and telephone ordering with pay ahead option to minimize contact and save time
- Text confirmation when order is ready for pickup
- Sealing of outermost packaging on delivery orders to ensure there is no contact with your food once it leaves our establishment
- Instructing staff to stay home if they are not feeling well
